MATERIALS & FINISHES
Every S3 surface starts with the material family, then comes pattern, type, colour and finish. Here the material character itself is shown clearly — without internal catalogue codes.

METALLIC BONDED
Metallic Bonded Surface is produced by casting metal granules into a tough, fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) matrix. Our advanced mould-making techniques assure perfect reproduction of every fine detail in the original patterned surface from casting to casting.
Colours are established by the metal incorporated into the matrix. So scratches are far less apparent than in materials with surface-applied or coated finishes.
These catalogue swatches show the current Metallic Bonded finish palette.
PATINA
For added enhancement, Metallic Bonded patterns are available in a choice of Natural or Dark patinas. A Dark patina heightens the contrast between highlights and shadows for a more pronounced three-dimensional two-tone effect. A Natural patina provides subtler, more even tonal gradations.
CRYSTAL-QUARTZ BONDED
Bonded Crystal Quartz keeps things simple with a contemporary palette of Charcoal and White. All colours are integral, so scratches are far less noticeable than in materials with surface-applied finishes. Custom colours may be an option on a per-project basis.
Patterns range from intricate textures to refined geometrics to designs that echo nature. Each captures shadows, directs light, and brings dimension to the surface in its own unique way.
